A continuation from Kindergarten, Year 1 is focused on mastering the foundational skills that allow children a running start in their academic journey. Skills such as, reading fluently, counting in multiples, and learning complex vocabulary, all put students ahead of the curve when they arrive in Year 2. Moreover, at Tiny Tots children at this age start reading independently to increase their emotional intelligence, participate in many group activities to improve social intelligence, and master fine motor skills through Montessori tools and activities.
